bsport at PerformX 2026: energy, conversations, and industry inspiration

Connecting with the fitness community at PerformX

This February, the bsport team headed to PerformX Live 2026, one of the UK’s fastest-growing fitness business events, held at the NEC in Birmingham. Bringing together thousands of gym owners, personal trainers, studio operators, and industry innovators, PerformX has become a key meeting point for anyone shaping the future of fitness.

Over two days, the event welcomed more than 6,000 professionals from across the fitness and wellness industry, creating the perfect space to exchange ideas, explore new technologies, and discuss what’s next for studios and coaches alike.

For bsport, it was an exciting opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, introduce our platform to new studios, and dive into conversations about the challenges and opportunities studio owners are facing today.

A buzzing atmosphere from start to finish

From the moment the doors opened, the energy across the exhibition floor was clear. Studio owners, PTs, and industry professionals gathered to learn from expert speakers, explore new products, and connect with others passionate about growing the fitness industry.

For the bsport team, the overall impression was overwhelmingly positive.

“It was a really good atmosphere, lots of buzz and engaging conversations,” shared Maddy, UK Sales Representative from the london office.

Ross, our knowledgeable Account Executive, highlighted how the event continues to evolve year after year:

“It felt busier than last year, and people came with a more business-focused mindset. Many were really interested in finding solutions to grow their studios.”

This type of environment makes events like PerformX especially valuable. Beyond the talks and presentations, it’s the real conversations between professionals that help move the industry forward.

Real studio insight: welcoming Jodie from Reform & Glow

One of the highlights for the bsport team was having Jodie, founder of Reform & Glow, join us at the stand on the 26th.

As a studio owner using bsport daily, Jodie brought a unique perspective to conversations with prospective studios and personal trainers who were curious about how the platform works in practice.

Having a real studio partner present made discussions even more valuable. Instead of simply explaining features, visitors could hear directly from someone running a successful studio using the platform.

Anisha, bsport Partnerships Manager added:

“I really liked having Jodie there. The conversations with were much more relevant and grounded in real experience.”

Moments like these are a reminder that the bsport community is built not only on technology, but also on the studio owners who use it every day.

Learning from conversations across the industry

Beyond introducing bsport to new studios, the event was also a great opportunity to better understand the current landscape of the fitness industry.

Many conversations were with studio owners who are currently using other platforms and exploring alternatives.

“It gave us valuable insight into what studios are looking for and what challenges they’re facing.”

These discussions are incredibly valuable for us. They help us continue improving the bsport platform to better support studio owners and fitness entrepreneurs as their businesses evolve.

Why events like PerformX matter

Events like PerformX are important because they bring together every part of the industry — from independent studio owners and personal trainers to technology providers and industry leaders.

Across multiple stages and workshops, the event covered topics shaping the future of fitness, from AI and emerging technology to business growth strategies and community-driven fitness models.

For bsport, these events are more than just exhibitions. They are opportunities to:

  • Connect with studio owners and trainers directly
  • Understand evolving business needs in the fitness industry
  • Share ideas and learn from the wider community
  • Build relationships that extend beyond the event itself

The inspiring energy and openness of the PerformX community made it clear why this event continues to grow each year.

Looking ahead

As the event wrapped up, one thing was clear: the fitness industry is full of passionate entrepreneurs who are constantly looking for better ways to build strong communities and successful businesses.

Being part of that conversation is something the bsport team values deeply. Our UK sales team loved speking with studios and personal trainers, whether they had heard of bsport before or it was our first time introducing ourselves.

From meeting new studios to reconnecting with partners like Reform & Glow, PerformX 2026 was a great reminder of how collaborative and forward-thinking the fitness community can be.
